About The Festival Hostel
The Festival Hostel in Budapest is located in a luscious green belt part of the city and it is less than one mile from the River Danube and part of it commands pretty cool views over the city from various rooms. Local public transport is also close to the hostel so you can easily be in the heart of the city and check out the most popular tourist sights in next to no time.
The hostel has a total of 24 rooms available and they vary in size from double rooms to various dorms. However, the dorms are split into male or female so there is no mixing which can often work out better for a number of people. The dorms always come with bedding as well as storage for your belongings and everything is kept spotlessly clean. Each room does have its own sink but there are shared bathroom facilities although the bathrooms are also kept very clean at all times.
For facilities, the Festival Hostel does provide free Wi-Fi to all of its guests and this is available throughout the entire building. It also has a garden that you can enjoy if the weather allows and there is a 24 hour reception desk available should you have any questions to problems even in the middle of the night. Furthermore, there is a laundry service and family rooms are available although no pets are allowed in the hostel. You can also take advantage of parking that is available on site although this is public parking so you are unable to reserve it in advance.
The staff are kept busy in the hostel and are always on hand to deal with any problems. Check-in is available from 2pm and check-out is before 10am although they are quite flexible and will accommodate you wherever possible. However, you need to warn them in advance if these options are not going to be beneficial to you.
Overall, the Festival Hostel in Budapest is very friendly, is in a gorgeous location in the city, and has a brilliant atmosphere that is quite laid back at all times. A number of people can be staying at the hostel at any given time but you do not feel swamped with guests and the rooms are large enough that you feel you have your own space even when sharing with a number of other people. This hostel is certainly a fantastic place to stay at.
